Wow! Brett Favre Does it Again…

by Brian

Not only is Brett Favre still an amazing quarterback, but he’s quite considerate as well. For anyone on the east coast who was thinking, “oh, great! An overtime game - I can’t stay up much later for this…” Favre made sure to take care of business 16 seconds into the extra frame.

Yet another great moment for anyone who loves watching #4 play the game.

Unless of course, your a Colorado sports fan. Then that TD bomb was pretty much the icing on your suck-tastic sports weekend cake. (hey, how about them Avalanche, huh?!)

  1. Cherie Burbach Says:

Yeah, and did you see that Favre tribute with pictures (including one from his PROM) along with a statement read by his wife? Now, I’m a HUGE Packer fan, but even I thought it was way overboard. Deanna Favre’s tribute started:

“We first saw you on an autumn day…”

Which for some reason reminded me of Forrest Gump. Then she ended it with:

    “My Brett. Our Favre.”

I think that tribute, combined with the awesome OT win, was enough to really send your spirits downward if you were the Broncos.

Not to mention the booth time that Deanna Favre got. It was like a Barbara Walters special instead of a Monday night football game! At one point Deanna was the only ones watching the game, the rest of the guys just wanted to TAWK.
